Cirebon – The Tadris Matematika Program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UIN SSC), held an International Studium Generale with the theme “STEAM Integration in Curriculum Innovation and Learning Technology: Building a 21st Century Education Ecosystem”. The event was organized as a strategic academic initiative to promote global educational insights and foster interdisciplinary innovation in curriculum and instruction, particularly in mathematics education.
The Studium Generale featured prominent experts in the field of education, including keynote speaker Dr. Kristóf Fenyvesi, a senior researcher from the Finnish Institute for Educational Research and adjunct professor at Korea National University of Education. He is internationally renowned for his work in STEAM learning and contemporary culture studies. Additional invited speakers included Dr. Setiyani, M.Pd. from Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati, and Dr. Reza Oktiana A., M.Pd., a lecturer from UIN SSC specializing in educational evaluation.
This international forum aimed to provide educators, students, and researchers with in-depth understanding of STEAM-based curriculum integration and its relevance to 21st-century learning environments. By exploring innovative strategies and technologies, the event sought to equip participants with the tools needed to adapt and thrive in increasingly digital and interdisciplinary educational settings.
